This was the kind of life I was willing to let go two years ago when God gave me a vision about going to Sweden and pursue His call.
Fancy, right? But I would always choose to turn my back from these things knowing I’m living within His purpose.
You may wonder why I chose calling over comfort. Some may not understand it, but I believe that even if I had life with everything, I won’t live my fullest potential without stepping in to what I am called to do and where I am supposed to be. I’d get stuck in a box failing to see what God has in store. So even if I have to start from scratch, knowing it won’t be easy, I chose to enter life into the unknown and trust God’s plan.
Today, I can totally say that I don’t regret my decision of putting my career and comfortable life behind because of what I have been learning in my journey and what I’m experiencing now in the art of letting Go and trusting God.

I wouldn’t trade for anything the moments I get to be part of the church God has led me here in Sweden, the people surrounding me and the joy I get, knowing I’m living a life in line with God’s purpose. This is more satisfying than what the world has to offer. Little by little, God unveils His beautiful plan in my life. I want to encourage you to trust God in whatever area of your life knowing He desires what’s best for you.
Sincerely,
Abby Bern
13 I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this;[a] however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. 14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.
