Last night in Hillsong Göteborg, I get to sing with such talented and amazing people from morning till night… singing nonstop hours to bring music into life and see the joy in other people’s eyes. These photos show how talented God’s people are!
I am so grateful to be able to sing in church since I was as young as 14. I remember saying No to music when I was a youth, so afraid of stage & responsibility of becoming a worship leader. I know at that time, I wasn’t capable and it wasn’t one of my greatest assets. Fear took a hold of me. And sometimes when we allow fear to intimidate us, we will miss out on a lot of great opportunities in front of us.
Can you believe I used to be on dance team?!? But then, when God calls you to trust Him with your voice and just use your heart to sing for Him, making space for what He can do, He is faithful to expand your horizon and just make it flourish.
Today, I am so blessed that I made a decision 15 years ago to say Yes to Music. I am so grateful that I obeyed God’s call and didn’t run away from what He wants me to do. If it weren’t for singing, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Music brought me to Sweden. Music is my life. And I have always chosen to dedicate all I do to Jesus, the giver of life. I will not be able to do all of these without His strength and grace in my life.
My God is amazing. He deserves all the praise in this world. If I won’t sing, the rocks will… so I’d rather lift my voice to my Maker, my Savior, my Heavenly Father. I will sing up to my last breath.
