We all have battles to face in life and there may be a time when it seems that nothing is happening to overcome it which leads to frustration and discouragement. The enemy will do everything to trick us that we are alone in our battle and that God is not paying attention. He will make us feel that we are abandoned and defeated. He will do whatever it takes to discourage us and cripple us with fear. Again, these are all lies and we shouldn’t allow him to fool us.

If you are in this situation, believe that God is fighting for you. You may have done everything you could and it seems that you’re still on the lower hand. You may be hopeless and helpless but know that God is in control. In times like these, you have to learn to entrust everything in God’s hands and be still. Stay in peace and know that God is on your side even if you are on the battlefield. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will never stop until your case has been settled. Remember that when God is for you, no one can be against you. You are on the upper hand because you have the Almighty God to defend you.

The same God who fought the battles of the Israelites against all the giants in the promise land will be the same God who will defeat your giants. You have nothing to fear because God is on the move and he is ahead of you. He’s your shield and your defender. It’s His battle, not yours. He has already won it for you and He has the best things in store for you.

In times when you feel like you are being defeated, stand your ground and take courage for God is with you. Be courageous and stay strong for You are already victorious. You are protected by the blood of Jesus and nothing can ever harm you. God is on your side and you are on the winning side. Shake off the attitude of defeat, aggravation, and hopelessness. The war is over. You are an overcomer in Christ Jesus.
