Called to Serve

To Serve God and His people is such a Privilege and a fulfilling thing to do every week. I believe everyone has a part to play in building God’s kingdom and leading people to knowing Christ. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture. Smiling to others and reminding them of God’s love by caring is a way of serving. Being an encouragement is also a way to serve. We can serve in so many ways.

Since I was young, I knew I was called to serve. It has been my desire to be planted in His Church. And now that God has made me sacrifice my career & family back home, He sure did planted me in a church where I can pursue what He’s called me to do. Everything I went through was all meant to happen leading me to where I am now. He brought me far across the globe for greater things He has in store for me. I know things wouldn’t be easy but I’m pretty sure it‘s all worth it.

We can serve wherever God has positioned us—whether it’s in your workplace, school, community, family, etc. Allow God to use you to be His beamer of light and bearer of love. Nothing in this world matters than getting closer to Christ, living a life for Him and leading people to the Father.

God is faithful to reward all the good works we’ve done for His kingdom. Never give up on doing greater things for His kingdom and His people for God does not forget everything you’ve done for Him. Your reward is coming. Expect for blessings, for His miracle, for a breakthrough. We live for one purpose and that’s to love Christ by also loving His people. We are blessed to be a blessing.

My heart is just grateful that I get to do this for God’s kingdom. All glory pointing out to Jesus. Apart from His grace, this wouldn’t be possible.

Sincerely,

Abby Bern
