He’s Not Far Away

You watch me when I travel and when I rest.
You are familiar with all my ways.
4Even before there is a single word on my tongue,
you know all about it, Lord.
5You are all around me—in front of me and in back of me.
You lay your hand on me.
Such knowledge is beyond my grasp.
It is so high I cannot reach it.

16 Your eyes saw me when I was still an unborn child.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book
before one of them had taken place.
17 How precious are your thoughts concerning me, O God!
How vast in number they are!

Psalm 139 GW

We have a God who is very much personal. He is not the kind of God who wants to be distant from His people and simply observe. He is actually near waiting for us to open our hearts so that He can dwell in it. He is not far away from us.He is not out of reach. He loves me and you so much that He knows who we are one by one. He does not look at us in general but He sees us individually. He knows your name and He never forgets it even though there are so many human beings in this world. He knows every single one of us and He cares for us.

Don’t ever think that God is too busy to answer your prayers because He’s got too many things on His list. God reminded me today by Reading Psalm 139 that He knows each of us right before we were born. He is present right from the very beginning of our existence. And we can be sure that He will be with us forever.

Stop thinking that you are insignificant. God thinks about you every millisecond of your life. You are important to Him. You are worth dying for at the Cross of Calvary. He would bring heaven down to earth just to save you from the penalty of sin which is death. He wants to give you life to the fullest and that is the main reason why Jesus came. He came to save all humanity and to reunite us with God the Father. He came so that we can experience the love that is unconditional.

Today, choose to believe that God is for you and He will never abandon you. Choose to receive His love and let it overflow in your life. He knows what you’re going through and He will help you get through it. Recognize His presence in your life and allow Him to lead you and fill you with His love and grace. God is real. He exists. Jesus is simply waiting for you to acknowledge Him as your Savior and Friend in your life. Believe that He loves you and He will do greater things for you.

Sincerely,

Abby Bern
