After everything I’ve been through, fear has no hold of me. I believe I can conquer anything as long as I am under God’s wings. All my detours and hardships have lead me to a place where I can grow and flourish. God has turned what the enemy intended to harm me for my good. I can say God is the God who turns Ashes to Beauty, Sorrow to Joy, and Mourning to Dancing.
Not only He has givem me my heart’s desire of being in a Music School but He has placed me in a church where I can grow and volunteer effectively. When we trust God in the midst of storm and turmoil, He will see to it that we arrive to our desired haven. He will show His greatness in our weakness. He will assure us that there’s nothing to fear.
Let this devotional be an encourament for you.
When I get really afraid

There will always come a time when fear cripples in. It’s not easy to avoid being afraid. If you search the internet, you’ll see how much list of phobia there is. You’d be surprised to see that it’s from A to Z.
Is there anything that you are afraid of right now? Is there anything trying to steal your peace? If your answer is YES, then be reminded that no schemes of the enemy will ever prevail. No matter how many fears he’d try to place in your heart, he will not win as long as you put your trust in God.
Don’t give the enemy a chance to plant fear in your mind. Instead, run to God and trust Him. Dwell in His Word and seek Him in times of being afraid. Tell yourself “I’m Fearless Now because my Trust is in the Lord.” Let your hope be anchored to Christ alone.
Praise Him in times of trouble. Worship God when worry tries to sink in. Best weapon to fear is singing about God’s goodness in your life. Remind yourself of His love and nothing else in this world will matter. He is like a shield that surrounds you in times of battles. No weapon will ever penetrate to you when God is your shield. You are secured in Him therefore you have nothing to be afraid of.
Fearless now. That’s what you are.
