3-4 I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous,
your handmade sky-jewelry,
Moon and stars mounted in their settings.
Then I look at my micro-self and wonder,
Why do you bother with us?
Why take a second look our way?
Psalm 8:3-4 The MSG
Did you know that you matter to God? You might say “Why would God even bother to help me with the simple things I am thinking right now?”. But think about it. He gave His Son Jesus Christ to die for you and me. He thought about you the day He decided to send His Son to earth. He knew you’d need a Savior. He knew your needs long before you’ve thought of them.
He cares for you even if you think He doesn’t. He loves you even if you don’t feel that you deserve to be loved. He fights for you and wins your battle even if you tell yourself “I’m not worth fighting for”. Know that His love is so vast that you cannot escape from it.
No matter how hard you try to reject that God can love you despite of, He will never stop pursuing you. You are more important than the moon and the stars in the galaxy. He sees you more beautiful than any other creation. He will never get tired looking at you and He will never quit thinking about you. That’s how much important you are to Him.
Don’t accept defeat. Don’t let the enemy fool you and keep you away from God’s love. You are more worth than the birds of the air and the fish in the sea. Don’t ever think in a moment that He has abandoned you or dislike you. The Father sees you just as He sees His Son, Jesus. Remind yourself of this love and be secured that He is for you.
