CONTEXT: God, our Helper. When we are tired and helpless, God is there to help us. We just need to surrender.

SCRIPTURES: Isaiah 40:28-31 GW/ Isaiah 41:10 GW

Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Don’t you know?
    Haven’t you heard?
The eternal God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
doesn’t grow tired or become weary.
        His understanding is beyond reach.
29 He gives strength to those who grow tired
and increases the strength of those who are weak.
30 Even young people grow tired and become weary,
and young men will stumble and fall.
31 Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the Lord
    will be renewed.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and won’t become weary.
They will walk and won’t grow tired.

Isaiah 41:10 GW

10 Don’t be afraid, because I am with you.
Don’t be intimidated; I am your God.
    I will strengthen you.
    I will help you.
I will support you with my victorious right hand.

KEY POINTS:

  1. You are not Alone. You are Not Alone. We All Have Struggles—We all have difficulties and challenges in life that makes us grow tired and weary.
  2. You Can Find Rest in Jesus. You Need Rest. We All Need Help—We all get tired. We are all human beings. We are not super-humans that can manage to hold every obstacles thrown towards us. We all have our moments were we just wanna give up and have a break. We can  say “Help!”. Know that you can Rest in God. And allow Him to move on your behalf. You dont have to do everything to survive. Sometimes you just need to trust God that He’s got this… that He has things sorted out for you. No need to worry.
  3. You Have a Helper, the Holy Spirit. We All Have a God to Call on to.

Good thing we have a God who is willing to help us and is always there to respond, to save and to support us with His victorious Right Hand.

DISCUSSION:

  1. What are the things you are struggling with right now? What are the things that makes you tired, that bothers you, and makes you worried?
  2. What do you think is the best way to deal with all your struggles? How are you addressing your situation?
  3. What do you think God can do in your situation(how can God help you?), and through your situation (lesson to be learned)? What is He teaching you? What is He trying to make out of your situation?
