I always have this queasy feeling whenever I’m about to enter a new chapter of my life. It makes me want to seize this very moment and forget that Time will never stop ticking.
When you think about walking towards tomorrow, it’s as if you’re jumping off a cliff not knowing whether you’ll survive it or not.
Leaving 2014 could be a little bit scary for me. All I have this year will soon turn into memories and will simply become stories to be reminisced and retold.
Despite of all life’s uncertainties, I do know that I have to take a huge leap of faith and move forward. It always takes courage to forget the past and look forward to what lies ahead. Instead of holding on to my 2014, I choose to believe that greater things are about to happen and all I need to do is to let go.
Some of you may be having the same thoughts as I am. We may all have fears and anxieties about tomorrow, but let’s be reminded of what God has in store for us. He did promise to give us a great and a hopeful future.
2014 may be a good year for you but who knows, 2015 could be even better. I thank God for allowing us to live a new day, a new week, a new month and even a new year. This only shows that God is the God of chances, that He’s so gracious enough to give us daily opportunities to live and have new experiences.
Imagine God as a News Paper Publisher. He has his own blank pages where he writes new stories everyday. The cool part is He is interested in composing a great story that will show His glory and I look forward to what God’s about to write for my upcoming year.
Keep in mind that the best is yet to come. God has always his best interest for us. Let’s be joyful and hopeful for the upcoming New Year! Believe that we will experience the Unstoppable Grace of God!
Sincerely,
